Our Last Full Day Here....

Today is our last day here in Guangzhou...we can't believe we are boarding our plane in the morning!!! WOW - this time has flown by and now we prepare to come home. We have our Consulate appointment this afternoon then plan to enjoy walking around the island this evening and, or course, pack up to leave the hotel early in the morning. We will be heading to Beijing for a long layover, then boarding the long flight to Chicago. We would be delighted to have you come to the airport to meet Naomi. We land in Louisville around 8:20pm on the 19th!!
We'll write more this evening about the appointment, letting you know how it went.

we are so excited that you are finally coming home! Wear yourselves out today so you get a good nights rest for tomorrow. We will be praying for safe and sleepy travels. You are still planning to blog everyday once you are home right? I can't wait to get in line and hug that little one! Much love, Heather

So excited to see you all very soon!!! Have a great day!Lee-Anne and Joel, on the way home remember what the Word says," Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." Eph. 4:29 Food for thought on your oh so many hour flight home. What a fun memory even the flying home will be for y'all to look back upon and even laugh about. Maybe not on Wednesday night but later, much later. Love y'all,
mimi

Godspeed, faithfilled friends . . . savor the final moments in this blessed and memorable time of travel. THAT being said, don't lament its end too much . . . lots of life to be lived and love to be shared and memories to be made remain for eternity. Praise God for promises made, fulfilled, and enduring. To say we are all a-flutter over your impending arrival would be SOOOOOOO the understatement. Someone's liable to bet trampled in the stampeed to embrace you Wednesday night. We'll try to contain ourselves and maintain some sense of order and human decency in the moment. No guarantees, mind you. You might want to make sure you have firm footing or at least brace yourselves on something as you come into view anyway. SEE YA SOON. (By the way, just to end on a similar note as always, THOSE PHOTOS ARE FABULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL!!)
