Yellow Crane Tower

(Joel Typing) Today we spent the morning inside until about 1:00. We visited the Yellow Crane Tower. After which, we had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony just below the tower. Our stay in Wuhan is just about over. Tomorrow we get Naomi's passport and head to Guanghzou, China and the White Swan hotel. Guanghzou is home to the US consulate to China and the final stop on this amazing experience in China.

We are very tired and hoping to get plenty of rest tonight (please pray Naomi sleeps longer tonight). Naomi is bonding well with Lee-Anne and loves kissing Nate. Nate is not about being kissed on, so we make him be still while Naomi unloads some very slobbery kisses. The picture up top is of Naomi soothing herself. She pokes the tip of her tongue out and licks her palm. It's also a quick indication she's tired.

People, the comments have dropped off a little bit, we might have to start with-holding pictures of Naomi. Seriously, the notes have been very encouraging and we cherish them.

We are still following along and enjoying every minute of it! Thank you so much for allowing us to travel this journey with you through your blog posts and the pictures.
If we were not all the way in NC we would try to greet you at the airport as you arrived home. We hope one day that our paths can cross again so that our little Asian princesses could meet one another.
We are continuing to pray for your family. We pray that God will give you an extra measure of strength as you finish up your trip.
With love,
The Harris Family

Hi guys, that hotel room and play room brings back the memories. Andy was laughing because it was a contest to see who didn't have to sit in the play room and listen to Sophie SCREAM.
Also, Joel carrying the stroller up the stairs at the tower. Oh man what a day.
I really can't wait to see her but I know you will enjoy Ghanzhou and the ice, yes that is right iced sweet tea at Lucys. I am trying to make a video for you on facebook, no luck yet.

Our computer is back on after being down for a few days. Now if we can just get the dryer working! You don't really appreciate things until they are gone. So excited to be able to see more pictures of Naomi. Kate already has her picture on her cell phone to show all her friends. Enjoy your plane trip and hope the next hotel room is a bit bigger.
Love, Margo, Molly and Kate.

When I read the part about palm licking, I thought of Karen H. and hand-sanitizer :-) Hmmm
What an adventure you all are on - in more ways than one. I love seeing the pictures of the sights you guys are taking in, especially picture of the small details and candid moments. Um, were those black pleather shorts, with black tights and cowboy boots? Nice!
Much love and prayers your way, JenD.

I've followed things since Dawn let me know your blogspot. Naomi is wonderful, awesome and all the special things you could describe. You, Joel and Nate with her make it indescribable. God is working miracles in your lives, and many, many people are led to Him by your witness. It will be good to see you at the mall -- with Naomi!

Ha Ha! I liked what Hollie said about just running out of words to say how amazing (fantastic, great, wonderful, exciting, thrilling, fun) it is to watch you get your beautiful (cute, sweet, precious, lovely, gorgeous) daughter. Oh great, now I have really used up all the words. We praise our God for who He is and for how he makes families!

Isabel asked before bed tonight when Nate was coming home. She thinks 6 more sleeps seems like to many. Praying for smooth travels and happy (and patient) children! Love, the Daniels
