We are home!!!!!!! As I type, both girls are sound asleep, enjoying a nice afternoon nap. nate is snuggled up to me on the couch and the first day as a family of five is going rather smoothly. Norah only slept 20-30 minutes of the entire 23 hour adventure home, so needless to say she was exhausted lastnight and went right to sleep, making it all the way through the night!!! We all slept well and feel great. Jet lag has a tendancy to sneak up on you, so I am anticipating some fatigue over the next few weeks, but am so grateful we are having such a smooth first day.
Norah is not so sure about these 2 sweet, fun-loving (bigger) siblings who keep wanting to hug her all the time. She is still warming up to her daddy, but has been in my arms less today than the previous few weeks. It won't be long until she feels comfortable and secure. We all look forward to that day :)
Our airport welcome was incredible. Julie took all these beautiful pictures and these are only a few of SEVERAL I had to choose from for this post. We feel so blessed and so loved.
