Each year we celebrate Nate's gotcha day and Joel's birthday (the same day - September 24th) by taking the family to Huber's Farm. This was Naomi's first time at a pumpkin patch and she loved it!!! Nate is almost too big (sniff, sniff) to sit on the pumpkin wagon for his annual picture....but we managed to squeeze him up there for at least one more shot. The day was very breezy (ok, in my book, WINDY) and cool, but the sun was out and Joel was off work and we made the best of it. There is something about the beginning of fall that tugs right at my heart - Joel and I fell in love in the fall and married 2 years later in the fall. We travelled to China in the fall and became a family of 4 in the fall. Lots of firsts during this beautiful season.
Nate has a few days off school this week. We are hoping for a trip to the zoo and a lil downtime here at home- we had a busy weekend around here and the kids need a jammie day (mommy does too).
Have a wonderful week!!
