6 years old today.......
We are so thankful for Nate. He has been such a blessing to us and to think 6 years have passed since we first held him in our arms - bitter sweet.
Nate's birth family has been incredible. We have been so blessed to have them as our extended family. From the very first time we met until today, it has been nothing but positive, encouraging, and God-honoring communication. What an awesome God we serve, to give us such a gift. We look so forward to the day, when the timing is right, for our families to be united again.
Tonight we had all our immediate family over for dinner. Nate could not wait to see everyone. He was excited all day!! He chose cinnamon rolls over the traditional cake and they were very tasty! He got to play with all his cousins, blow out the candles on a HUGE tray of cinnamon rolls, and play his new gift. What a fun day.
It would only be appropriate to end this day reflecting on Jesus. Today as we honor Good Friday, we cannot express enough our gratitude for his death on the cross. To God be the glory. He is our only hope. He is our salvation. And we are forever, eternally grateful. Even more grateful to celebrate EASTER and the hope that He brought. Looking forward to being a part of our church's Easter services this weekend. Joel has daddy duty all weekend, as I will be there the majority of Saturday and Sunday.
Have a blessed Easter.
